Meet Our Team
Scott Kinder is from Sumter, SC. He joined CRW Insurance in 2008 as Benefits coordinator assisting in Life and Health coverage for groups and individual. Scott purchased the agency in 2016 with Robbie Nalley and serves in various roles promoting CRW Insurance. He is married to Cristi Kinder and they have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting and spending time on the water. He is a member or Christ Community Church where he serves as an usher and is also on the Welcome team. Scott is member of the Progressive club and the Palmetto Rotary Club of Sumter.
Robbie Nalley grew up in Clarendon County attending school in Manning, SC and church in Sumter, SC. After graduating The Citadel in 1991 Robbie spent 9 years as a teacher, coach and athletic director. In 2000 he began working as a producer at CRW Insurance and in 2016 became a co-owner of the business. Robbie is active in the IIABSC and currently serves as the secretary for its Board of Directors. Robbie is married with 2 girls and attends Christ Community Church. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Donna Jo Smith
Donna Jo Smith joined CRW Insurance in April 2018 as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. She is the commercial lines department manager and has over 20 years of experience in property casualty insurance. She obtained her CISR designation in 1997 and her CIC designation in 2011. She is responsible for servicing Commercial property and casualty clients and ensuring our clients obtain individualized service that meets their coverage with competitive rates. Donna Jo has a son named Timothy & she enjoys shopping, reading & spending time with family & friends.
April Preator made Sumter, SC her home in 2004, relocating from Tyler, TX. She has performed many roles in the Insurance Industry in both Personal and Commercial Lines. She is now a Commercial Lines Account Manager and has been with CRW since 2018. Her favorite things about the organization are the personal relationships they develop with clients and the family atmosphere in the workplace.
In her free time, April enjoys being with her husband and children and spending time with her family. She loves the ocean, photography, visiting new places and leaving kindness along the way.

Anna Osteen was born and raised in Manning, SC. She attended Laurence Manning Academy and proceeded to further her education at Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelors's degree in English. After graduating, Anna found a niche for helping people through the insurance industry. She enjoys working closely with others to ensure a better quality of life.
When she isn't working, Anna enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Hunter, and their two dogs. On the weekends, you can find her playing tennis, hanging out with friends and family, hunting, and boating any chance she gets.
Angela Young has been in South Carolina for a year now. Both her dad and her husband currently serve in the Military and as a dependent she has lived in several states and countries. She joined our team as front desk and currently works as a Processor for the Commercial Lines team. Her favorite thing about our organization is our family friendly environment and that all of her coworkers are always willing to help each other.
While away from work, Angela loves spending time with her husband and her two daughters and kitten. She also enjoys running 5K’s and half marathons, working out, shopping, and cooking.

Jennifer Rogers was raised in Rembert, SC and spent a lot of her childhood years in Camden, SC. She has called Sumter home for over 10 years. She met her husband in Sumter and they have four fur-babies.
Jennifer has a background in Medical Billing and Coding that she received from Central Carolina Technical College. She was in that field for 10 years in a Long-Term Care setting. She joined the CRW team in 2019 as the receptionist and is now a Commercial Account Manager. She enjoys the challenges and learning experiences in insurance. She strives to keep learning new information that will help her be a better agent. Her favorite thing about CRW Insurance is the family-like atmosphere.
When Jennifer is not working, she enjoys spending her summers at Lake Marion or Lake Wateree. She looks forward to football season and goes to as many Gamecock games as she can. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer has a huge heart for animals and tries to find homes or rescue as many as she can.

Brandi Sloan recently joined CRW Team in December 2020. She brings over 22 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance. She earned her Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation in 2004.
She was born and raised in Sumter, SC but found her home in the Lee County where she enjoys the "country life" with her husband Steve and their dogs. She likes working outdoors and tending to her organic garden. Brandi was blessed with musical talent and loves to play the violin (and most recently the accordion) for others. She has been a member of The Woman's Afternoon Music Club since 2016 and serves as their Treasurer.

Sandi White has lived in Sumter, since 1971, when her stepfather was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. Born in the Smokie Mountains of Tennessee, then moved to the Chicago area. Joined the VFW Auxiliary and after serving in various offices of the local post she served as the Department President from 1991-1992. With that, she has visited all over the state of SC and many other interesting places in our great country.
Sandi has been working for CRW since 2009, as the Commercial Lines Processor (and many other flunky jobs. Ha Ha!). She enjoys baking and sharing with other folks.
New Business Team
Stacy Spurling, was born and raised in Sumter, SC. She has been married for 23 years to Chad and they have 2 sons Michael and Alex. Stacy often says her home life is like a zoo, as she has 3 dogs and 1 cat that she loves dearly. Stacy joined the CRW team in October of 2018, after being in the insurance industry for 20 years. She speaks fluent Spanish and loves helping others.
Stacy currently serves as a Senior Account Manager in personal lines. She is part of the Helping Hands committee, where she serves the role of putting together work and community actions, giving back to Sumter County and surrounding areas. Away from work, Stacy enjoys the beach, shopping, and Mexican food! Stacy attends Newspring Church in Florence SC, where she uses her hospitality serving on their greeting team.

Life and Health
Amber Stevens, originally from the small town of Cassatt, SC, currently resides in Rembert of Sumter County. She joined our team in June of 2020 and is one of our Benefit Coordinators for our Life and Health Department. When asked what her favorite things about our office were, Amber insisted that it is our family- focused values, the friendliness of her coworkers, and the willingness everyone has to go above and beyond for their clients.
In her spare time, Amber takes advantage of spending it with her husband and three kids. They enjoy fulfilling activities in their family’s Adventure Book, cooking/ baking, having movie nights and enjoying the outdoors.
New Business Team
Hayley was born and raised in Sumter, SC. At the age of 24, she joined our team as our Front Desk Receptionist in October of 2020. She has been working in customer service for 7 years. Her favorite thing about our business is the teamwork the members of the company show, the commitment to quality service, and working in an office so close to her home.
While away from work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family and her son, Rowan. On the weekends, you can find her shopping, taking trips to the beach, or curling up at home with a good book.

I was born and raised in Manning, South Carolina. I studied at the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2020, starting my insurance career not long after at the front desk at CRW.
My free time is spent with my friends and family, or with my dogs, who I consider my children. While not in the office, you can find me at any Carolina sporting event or at the lake.
Ruth moved to Sumter in 1973 making this her permanent home. As a military dependent, she enjoyed traveling and now calls Sumter her home after her father retired here. Graduated from Sumter High School and got married shortly after graduation and started raising a family. She joined Creech Roddey Watson in 2006 and is a Personal Lines Processor. While away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Enjoys cooking and relaxing on weekends, enjoys downtime.

Jamie Phegley joined the CRW team in June of 2020 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance & Risk Management from Indiana State University and has over 20 years of insurance industry experience.
In her spare time, you can find Jamie cruising the open seas with her husband or just relaxing at home with her basset hound, Millie. She also enjoys spending time with her four adult children. Jamie attends MCC church where she serves on the greeting team and is a member of Tri Kappa.
Born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina, Madeline has deep roots in all aspects of her life. She studied at the University of South Carolina and joined our team in February of 2021. She holds a Property and Casualty Producer’s license and is on our Service Team to handle anything you can throw at her.
Madeline’s free time comes rarely, but she would not change a thing about her time away from work. Her extended family is HUGE and she enjoys spending time with them every chance she gets, which is all of the time since most of them live throughout SC as well. When there is not a family event going on, Madeline enjoys hanging with her new fiancé, Seth, going out with her friends, and spending summer days on the water at Lake Marion. While it may seem like Madeline is always on the go, she does need her quiet time. Her ideal way to relax is sitting outside with a nice breeze and a good book.
A bit of scripture that keeps Madeline grounded is from the Gospel of Luke. It reads “Whoever listens to you listens to Me, whoever rejects you rejects Me, and whoever rejects Me rejects God who has sent Me.” Luke 10:16
Amy was born in Charleston, SC and raised at The Isle of Palms where she graduated from Wando High School in 1992 and then The College of Charleston in 1996. She is the proud mother of Grace (24), Carol Ann (15) and Rob (13). She has spent the last 25 years in the insurance industry and currently holds her P & C and Life & Health licenses.
Amy is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and serves as an Elder at The Presbyterian Church at Manning. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to The Citadel football games, spending time on the water and attending her children’s football, travel softball and baseball games.
Brittany Tindal is originally from Sumter, South Carolina where she attended Wilson Hall and went on to graduate from Clemson University. She began her career in insurance over 15 years ago and has worked in personal, life, and commercial departments. Brittany currently is a full time Producer for our office. You can find Brittany boating with her family or horseback riding in her down time.
Terry Richburg is a native of Manning, South Carolina where he has owned his own business for 35 years. He decided to diversify, getting into the insurance business in 2003 and currently holds both his P&C and Life licenses, and he is a Producer for our office. Terry enjoys any time off at his home on the lake with wife Becky, and their four children: Emily, Jacob, Abby, and Anna.
Will Watson has spent the entirety of his life in Sumter, South Carolina. Will joined our team in May of 2019, after graduating from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He is part of our outside sales team, which entails assessing risks and developing lasting relationships. Two of his favorite aspects of this organization include the constant educational and team focused environment.
Outside of the agency, Will values spending time with friends and family. He enjoys sports and appreciates the outdoors. He can be found spending his downtime hunting, camping, or on the water.
Robbie Briggs III
Robbie was born in Rock Hill, SC and later moved to Manning where he graduated from Manning High School in 1989. Robbie lettered four years in football at The Citadel from 1989-1992. After graduating in 1993, he stayed on as a GA football coach and in 1995 received a master’s degree in education. He then went on to married Amy Matthews that same year in Charleston.
Robbie spent 24 years at Manning High and Laurence Manning Academy as a Teacher, Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. He has spent the last 6 years in the insurance industry and currently holds his P & C license where he specializes in commercial transportation.
Robbie is a member of The Presbyterian Church at Manning and is currently the President of The Citadel Football Association. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, playing golf, going to The Citadel football games, spending time on the water and attending his children’s football, travel softball and baseball games.
Administrative & Accounting
Kelly Wenzel, born and raised in Passaic, NJ and went to college in Wilson, NC and studied business administration. Kelly received her P&C license in 2010 and has been growing within the industry ever since. Kelly has two children that she loves dearly and keep her on her toes. In my free time I like to cook and give back to the community. Kelly is very strong and positive influence for our clients and employees.
Kay Jowers is a proud lifelong South Carolina resident and has been in the insurance industry for 32 years. Kay has worked for two different insurance agencies, which has built her very strong personal lines experience, and she is an account manager. Kay enjoys her free time at her home by the water and with her two granddaughters!
Tim Stolley grew up in the mountains of western Colorado. A graduate of Colorado State University in 2000, he’s been working in the accounting field for the last 24 years including 16 years as a CPA. He moved to South Carolina a year ago. He has a son and daughter who are attending college (Ash and Willow) studying in North Carolina and Georgia. In his spare time, Tim works as an umpire and enjoys golfing, fishing, and biking.
Yoli Crolley joined our team in September 2021 as a Bookkeeper after spending 29 years at the Council of Governments. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and is a die-hard Gamecock.
Yoli and her husband Greg have been in Sumter since 1989 and have one daughter and granddaughter in Florence along with a son and daughter-in-law in Columbia. Her hobbies include the beach, sporting events, and any activity with her granddaughter. She attends Bethel Baptist Church in Sumter and her favorite scripture comes from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Mary Michael Walker
Mary Michael Walker was born and raised in Manning, SC where she attended Laurence Manning Academy. After attending Central Carolina Technical College, she started working at SAFE and then the Bank of Clarendon. Mary joined CRW in October 2021. She now lives in Sumter with her husband and two dogs. Mary is a member of the Manning United Methodist Church. When she's not working, you can find her spending time with family and friends.
